FAQ’s

Q. I don’t attend a studio or school. Can I still attend the workshop by myself?

A. Of course. Just fill out the registration form for individuals.

Q. Can I buy my ticket to the workshop on the day?

A. Yes, you can but I would advise you not to as we only have a limited number of spots per class. There is also an extra fee for paying on the day so it is actually cheaper to pre-register.

Q. Where do I check in when I arrive?

A. There will always be a Registration table set up at the front of the studio. Here you will sign in and be notified of the schedule for the day. Please make sure you are 30 minutes early to class so you can register and warm-up as we do not let anyone late into the classes.

Q. Will I be able to take photos with the choreographers or have them sign anything?

A. Yes, there will be 15 minutes after class where you can grab a quick photo. Please have your camera ready as the choreographers are on a tight schedule and there is not enough time for everyone to chat to them.

Q. Can I video the routine at the end of the class?

A. No, we have a strict policy of NO VIDEOING OR PHOTOGRAPHY during class as the choreographers do not allow this without special permission.

Q. Can I fill out the registration form on the internet to secure my place but pay on the day?

A. Unfortunately no, we can’t allow this. We will only except registration forms with payment otherwise we cannot secure your spot on the day of the workshop.

Q. Will the teachers be the same at each city in Australia?

A. Yes the timetable will remain the same for the entire 2011 tour.

Q. My Child is a junior, according to your age break-up but very advanced. Is it ok for me to register for the Senior class?

A. The Australian Convention will definitely encourage students to always push themselves further. Please ask your teacher first and if they are happy for you to jump up a level than you are more than welcome to do so. Keep in mind that your child will be dancing with professional dancers in the senior age group, as this is an open class and the level will be highly advanced.
